The team of Return has recorded this short psychological suspense film that explores the limits between memory and reality through a story full of emotional tension and mystery.. Written and directed by Ramon Mayol, the project presents a contained story, intense and deeply cinematic that takes place entirely in the living room of an apartment during a night marked by the ghosts of the past.
The plot follows Lucia, played by Ana Mora, a woman who receives an unexpected visit three years after an event that changed her life forever. Marcos appears in front of her, embodied by Luis Ávila, whose presence will reveal hidden memories, silenced truths and a wound that never healed. What begins as a reunion full of uncomfortable silences progressively drifts towards a disturbing experience where memory becomes unknown territory.
With a minimalist staging, illuminated by candles and dominated by chiaroscuro, Return bets on a narrative that combines classic suspense with supernatural elements. The short film builds an oppressive atmosphere where every glance, every silence and every detail acquires decisive importance.
The film features the interpretations of Ana Mora and Luis Ávila, who sustain an intense interpretative duel in a story that reflects on guilt, grief and the impossibility of escaping what remains buried in consciousness.
Return It is currently in the editing phase and hopes to soon begin its tour of festivals specializing in short films and fantasy films., consolidating itself as an author's proposal that bets on contained emotion, the atmosphere and strength of a story capable of disturbing long after its outcome.
